'Lost Wax Bronze Casting' demonstrated by Neil Wood

Neil Wood is an experienced sculptor who also built his own foundry and has worked in many others.

You will follow the process from the original modelling, through all the stages of moulding and casting, to the finished bronze. We will also look at bronze through history, with examples of all the materials including finished artworks.

There will be time for Questions and Answers.

'Printing' demonstrated by Laura Boswell

Laura Boswell is a Buckinghamshire printmaker. She works with Japanese woodblock and linocut. Laura trained in Japan and that influences her work both in approach and technique. Her landscape work explores ideas about scale and distance, and the fleeting nature of weather and light. Laura teaches, writes a monthly magazine column and, with the help of her husband, hosts a YouTube channel about printmaking.

Chris Christoforou is a professional artist with over 30 years’ experience who has built up an international reputation for his work. In this demonstration he will explain and show examples of how to get the best presentation of your work with mounting and framing.
