Artist statement

My paintings represent my love for my surroundings.
I take my influences from nature, bright jewel colours and shadows, together with the effects of stained glass windows. I enhance scenes through the use of complementary colours, sometimes quite literally “throwing paint” onto the surface to create a sense of locale or an impression of objects.
